The US State Department's Bureau of Consular Affairs website, http://travel.state.gov/passport/index.html, includes extensive information and instructions concerning applications for US passports. In addition to downloadable passport applications, they provide instructions for applying for a US passport by mail or in person, replacing a lost or stolen passport, obtaining a passport in a hurry, and a listing of frequently asked questions. For applications that are required to be submitted in person, Princeton Borough's Clerk's Office is an authorized acceptance agency.
